Es ist der \u201cMonat der Volksheiligen\u201d und fast jede Stadt und jedes Dorf veranstaltet ein Fest zu Ehren eines davon. Antonius von Padua (Portugiesisch), Johannes der T\u00e4ufer und Petrus sind die Hauptfiguren, aber es gibt viele andere, besonders in den kleineren D\u00f6rfern.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2d74bc7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2d74bc7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eines der \u00e4ltesten ist das achtt\u00e4gige Festetas de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o de Braga. W\u00e4hrend dieses Festes sind alle 13<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Jahrhundert-Mittelalter, die Rituale, die es enth\u00e4lt, gehen viel weiter in der Zeit zur\u00fcck. verschiedenen St\u00e4dten haben unterschiedliche Atmosph\u00e4ren und Erlebnisse. Lissabon dreht sich um Sardinen, Bier und Tanzen in den Stra\u00dfen von Alfama. In Porto dreht sich alles um Feuerwerke von der Br\u00fccke, die sich im Fluss Douro spiegeln und die atemberaubende Skyline beleuchten.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cm-braga.pt\/en\/0101\/conhecer\/posto-de-turismo\">Braga<\/a> geht es um Riesen, oder wie sie sie nennen, Gigantones Cabe\u00e7udos (die Dickk\u00f6pfe). Braga ist auch etwa 90 Minuten von Tiny Escape entfernt, was es einfach macht, daran teilzunehmen.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prozessionsriesen tauchten erstmals w\u00e4hrend des 13<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Jahrhundert. Sie sind aus leuchtend bemalter Pappmach\u00e9 gefertigt, auf einem Holzgestell montiert und von einer Person auf den Schultern getragen. Es klingt einfach, aber glauben Sie mir, sie sind beeindruckend, wenn sie \u00fcber Ihnen aufragen.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Urspr\u00fcnglich waren die Riesen religi\u00f6se Figuren. Im Laufe der Zeit entwickelten sie sich weiter und umfassten:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">K\u00f6nigsfamilie<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lokale Typen (wie ein rustikaler Bauer)<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Komische oder schelmische Charaktere<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lokale Helden<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monster<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">W\u00e4hrend ich diese K\u00f6nige und K\u00f6niginnen interagieren sah, musste ich unweigerlich an die reisenden Schauspielertruppen aus Game of Thrones denken. Sie waren thematisch ernst, aber reich an Satire und Humor. Seit \u00fcber 1.000 Jahren ist sie die spirituelle Hauptstadt Nordportugals. Sie wird manchmal das portugiesische Rom genannt und hatte historisch gesehen echte Macht. Ihr Fest ist eines der \u00e4ltesten, und so war die Vermischung von Glauben, Lagerfeuern, Heiligen und Partys tats\u00e4chlich ziemlich radikal. Die Sardinen essenden Partyg\u00e4ste in Lissabon und die Feuerwerk-Betrachter von Porto verdanken Braga die heutigen
