Santo Ant\u00f3nio (portugu\u00eas), S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o (o Baptista) e S\u00e3o Pedro s\u00e3o os principais, mas h\u00e1 muitos outros, especialmente nas vilas mais pequenas.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2d74bc7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2d74bc7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uma das mais antigas s\u00e3o as Festas de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o de Braga, que duram oito dias. Enquanto este festival tem tudo 13<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> s\u00e9culo medieval, os rituais que incorpora remontam muito mais no tempo. Tenho escrito sobre isto noutros Di\u00e1rios (ver Entrudo de Lavarim), mas esta festa em particular preserva costumes muito antigos de solst\u00edcio de ver\u00e3o \u2013 fogo, dan\u00e7a, rituais de fertilidade e oferendas para colheitas abundantes. Portanto, se est\u00e1 a pensar em ra\u00edzes pag\u00e3s, estaria certo. \u00c9 um exemplo cl\u00e1ssico de como as antigas tradi\u00e7\u00f5es de solst\u00edcio de ver\u00e3o foram absorvidas na celebra\u00e7\u00e3o crist\u00e3. santos em diferentes cidades t\u00eam energias e experi\u00eancias distintas. Lisboa \u00e9 sin\u00f3nimo de sardinhas, cerveja e dan\u00e7a nas ruas de Alfama. O Porto \u00e9 sin\u00f3nimo de fogo de artif\u00edcio a partir da ponte que se reflete no rio Douro e ilumina o seu deslumbrante horizonte.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cm-braga.pt\/en\/0101\/conhecer\/posto-de-turismo\">Braga<\/a> tudo se resume a gigantes, ou como eles lhes chamam, Gigantones Cabe\u00e7udos. Braga fica tamb\u00e9m a cerca de 90 minutos do Tiny Escape, tornando f\u00e1cil a desloca\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Os gigantes processuais apareceram pela primeira vez em festas religiosas portuguesas durante o s\u00e9culo XIII<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> s\u00e9culo. S\u00e3o feitos de papel mach\u00ea pintado de forma vistosa, montado numa estrutura de madeira e transportado nos ombros de uma pessoa. Parece simples mas, confie em mim, s\u00e3o impressionantes quando se erguem sobre n\u00f3s.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Originalmente, os gigantes eram figuras religiosas. Com o tempo, evolu\u00edram para incluir:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Realeza<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tipos locais (como um agricultor r\u00fastico)<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Personagens c\u00f3micos ou travessos<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her\u00f3is locais<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monstros<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enquanto observava estes reis e rainhas a interagir, n\u00e3o pude deixar de pensar nas companhias teatrais itinerantes de Game of Thrones. Elas eram s\u00e9rias quanto ao tema, mas carregadas de s\u00e1tira e humor. A sua festa \u00e9 uma das mais antigas e, por isso, a mistura de f\u00e9, fogueiras, santos e festas foi, na verdade, bastante radical. Os foli\u00f5es que comem sardinhas em Lisboa e os que admiram os fogos de artif\u00edcio no Porto t\u00eam muito a agradecer a Braga pelas festas de santos
